Project challenges and goals
We approached the strategy with an ambitious plan — to secure TOP 3 and TOP 10 positions for the most valuable keywords that would strengthen Komputronik.pl’s position as a leader in the computer hardware industry. Before our collaboration began, Komputronik.pl was experiencing a steady decline in search engine visibility. Thanks to the combined efforts of the in-house team and the implementation of the initial improvements, we were able to reverse this trend and initiate dynamic growth. In the following months, visibility continued to increase steadily, leading to improved rankings for key keywords and greater stability in search results. During this process, two minor drops in visibility were recorded. The first was related to a Google algorithm update that placed greater emphasis on precisely matching content to user intent. As a result, some keywords were removed from the rankings because Google determined that the associated pages did not fully address the queries. However, it's important to note that these changes had no impact on overall organic traffic. The second drop resulted from planned actions related to optimizing the information architecture. As part of a two-phase cleanup of the site structure, outdated product subpages that did not generate traffic were removed, which helped improve the overall quality of indexed pages. Despite these temporary fluctuations, the overall growth trend was clearly visible, as illustrated by the screenshot below showing the website’s visibility in search engines, along with a table indicating the percentage increase in keyword visibility in the TOP 3 and TOP 10 after 10 months of collaboration.

Laptops and PCs
For one of the most important categories, we secured TOP 3 positions for the most critical keywords: gaming computer, gaming laptop, all-in-one computer. Similarly high rankings were also achieved for other phrases related to computer accessories and models from various manufacturers.
GSM
In the GSM area, our main focus was on keywords that reflect users’ purchase intent. These include phrases such as cheap phone, phone for seniors, landline phone, or specific models — for example, Samsung Galaxy.
Monitors
Another category we focused our efforts on was monitors. Here, too, we achieved TOP 3 rankings, including first-place positions in search results for many priority keywords, which clearly translated into increased organic traffic.
Hard drives
Hard drives were also on the list of priorities. We focused on keywords that indicate a clearly defined purchase intent, aiming to reach users searching for a specific product and already in the advanced stages of the buying process, which significantly increased the chances of conversion.

Komputronik’s visibility growth compared to the computer equipment e-commerce industry
The industry in which our client operates is highly competitive, which is why we also analyze the results achieved in the context of competitors' performance. Over the past year, during our collaboration, Komputronik.pl experienced a dynamic increase in search engine visibility. As noted above, the number of keywords in the TOP 3 grew by 109% (from 11.3K to 24.7K), and in the TOP 10 by 203% (from 36.2K to 109.8K). Although e-commerce websites differ in product range and availability, it is worth highlighting the consistent organic growth of the site. Compared to competitors within this niche, Komputronik.pl stands out for its stability and steady upward trend, while the industry as a whole shows both increases and declines in visibility among competing websites. The screenshot below illustrates the changes described, providing a clear view of specific data and the growth dynamics in search engine results.

Implementation
As mentioned earlier, when planning the strategy, our goal was not only to increase organic traffic but, above all, to attract users who were ready to make purchase decisions on www.komputronik.pl. That’s why our efforts focused on increasing the visibility of key computer hardware-related keywords — such as gaming computer, monitor, SSD drive, and laptop — and on leveraging their potential to drive organic traffic and sales conversions. During the project, we adopted a comprehensive approach, combining technical optimization with the creation of valuable content. The key to success was a precise strategy, divided into stages that addressed both user needs and search engine requirements. Thanks to consistency and coherence, our efforts have supported—and continue to support—the website’s visibility and long-term growth.SEO Audit
At the start of the collaboration, we conducted a detailed SEO audit that allowed us to understand the current state of the website and identify the key areas requiring optimization. The audit included:- An analysis of organic traffic, assessing the number of visits generated from unpaid search engine results.
- Information architecture — including an analysis of content structure, identification of thin content issues (pages with insufficient or low-value content for users), and keyword cannibalization.
- Visibility fluctuations in the context of Google updates, which helped us understand the impact of algorithm changes on the site’s performance.
- Server logs — an analysis of Googlebot behavior to optimize crawl budget (including Cost of Retrieval), i.e., the number of pages crawled and indexed by the search engine.
- Link profile — assessment of the quality and structure of incoming links, along with recommendations for improvement.
Technical SEO
After conducting the SEO audit, we identified key areas needing improvement in technical SEO. Although Komputronik.pl had a solid structure, it could achieve better visibility by optimizing fundamental technical elements. We focused on actions that improved site performance, indexing, and compliance with Google’s algorithm requirements. Technical actions formed the foundation of the entire strategy and aimed to improve the site’s core parameters:- Migration to a refreshed e-commerce platform — support in verifying the correctness of the migration process. Audit and assessment of the functionality of the SPA (Single-Page Application) and SSR (Server-Side Rendering) mechanisms. Crawl budget optimization — we analyzed server logs to understand how search engine bots navigate the site. We implemented changes to indexing mechanisms, which allowed for better resource management and more effective indexing of the most important pages.
- Page load speed — we focused on improving Core Web Vitals metrics, such as:
- LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) — the time it takes to load the largest visible element on the page,
- CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) — the visual stability of the page during loading.
- Updating robots.txt files and sitemap — we adjusted these elements to improve communication between the site and search engine bots. This facilitated the indexing of important pages and eliminated technical obstacles.
Content and information architecture
Content creation is much more than just writing — it’s strategic planning that takes into account both user needs and search engine algorithm requirements (including aspects like taxonomy). As part of our collaboration with Komputronik.pl, we focused on developing a comprehensive content strategy that not only delivered valuable information tailored to users’ questions and needs but also supported the site in achieving higher rankings in search results. This served as the foundation for activities that included:- Content strategy preparation — we planned actions that enabled the creation of valuable content addressing user queries, with an emphasis on semantics and comprehensive topic coverage.
- Collaboration with copywriters — we worked together to create high-quality promotional content that was better tailored to user needs and more competitive in search results.
- Optimization of page title tags — we crafted page titles based on semantic analysis, enabling search engines to better understand the content of each page.
- Expansion of internal linking architecture — we connected key pages logically, which not only improved user navigation but also increased the site’s visibility in search results.
- Filter indexing strategy — we designed a plan to unlock the potential of additional result pages, significantly boosting the site’s visibility.
Emphasis on the semantic aspect of the website
During the collaboration, we focused on maximizing our expertise in the semantic approach to website structure. We implemented a range of solutions aimed not only at improving functionality but also at positively influencing how the site is perceived by users and search engine algorithms. Key elements related to broad semantics played a crucial role, such as topical coverage (expanding the information architecture around key entities) and taxonomy (designing a logical and intuitive site layout in terms of structure).- Preparation of topical maps — we developed thematic maps for many key entities, which enabled the creation of content that comprehensively addresses user queries and covers all related entities.
- Creating content briefs — we prepared detailed guidelines for copywriters that incorporated recommendations from the latest semantic SEO methodologies. Each brief specified titles, headings, keyword placement, and thematic relationships.
- Work on hX headings (Heading Vectors) — we optimized the heading structure by incorporating semantics and techniques related to Heading Vectors, which improved both search visibility and user readability.
- N-gram analysis — we utilized uni-gram, bi-gram, and tri-gram analysis to identify and optimize the most important entities, allowing us to better tailor content to the site's semantic context. This analysis is an excellent tool when aiming to examine the distribution of words and their thematic relevance.
Next steps
Although we’ve achieved many ambitious goals, we’re not resting on our laurels and continue to work intensively on the development of the website. In the next steps, we will focus on continuing our joint on-site efforts and on advanced aspects of technical optimization. A key element will be the implementation of further Vestigio recommendations by Komputronik’s development team, which will allow us to further strengthen the technical foundation of the site.Summary
